The KINODVOR.SI website is a popular web place among film enthusiasts. It is drawing the crowds with an ever-growing archive of excellent film reviews (6000 and counting). The collection includes every film screened at the Kinodvor City Theatre, its credits and the date of first screening. Since the end of last year, the webpage has been receiving 1000 visitors daily, which is five times more than its 200 seat capacity.

Despite the great content and large volumes of traffic, the web page’s design from 2011 showed weaknesses in user experience which necessitated technical redesign.

The redesign took 5 months and encompassed new architecture, visual redesign, implementation of up-to-date technical solutions and new conceptual design of content presentation. One of the changes to have the most impact on better user experience is an intuitive and easy to follow short-term and long-term screenings schedule plus a complex generator of related content.
