OHS organises a very successful architecture festival and produces the largest database of architectural buildings in the country.
The redesign of the website was necessary because the response times had become unreasonably long due to the amount of data and the technical challenge was just that – to design an optimal information system.
Creatively, we wanted to create a modern, dynamic, interactive impression. The challenge was how to mitigate, through design, the marked differences in image quality that had been accumulating in the database for more than 15 years. The “seasonality” of the events also had to be resolved: twice a year a very well attended festival, the rest of the time other content.
