On the topic of Mutić’s photography, critic Miha Colner writes: “The BERLIN Substract cycle shamelessly displays images of extreme subjectivism, which reminds us of Helen Levitt and Robert Frank. The common trait here is penetration of public space and embracing it in its entirety. Mutić’s Berlin is markedly eclectic and sometimes dramatic, even when all it does is show the city’s everyday life by documenting the faces of its inhabitants and the visual traces they leave.”
